2026 / DISPLAY BUYING GUIDE

Find your next gaming monitor.

A strong display can outlast several PC upgrades. Choose for your hardware, your room and the games you actually play—especially before seasonal sales.

BEFORE YOU BUY

Six things worth checking

Resolution and size

Balance pixel density and viewing distance against the games your system can run at your preferred frame rate.

Refresh rate

Make sure your computer or console and the intended cable connection can output the resolution and refresh rate you want.

Response behavior

Independent measurements of motion clarity, overshoot and input delay are more useful than a single manufacturer response-time claim.

Adaptive sync

Check variable refresh rate (VRR) compatibility with your graphics hardware and console, including supported input ports and range.

HDR and contrast

An HDR logo does not guarantee impactful HDR performance. Seek credible reviews covering real brightness, contrast and local dimming.

Warranty and connections

Verify HDMI and DisplayPort capabilities, stand adjustability, return policy, warranty and any panel-specific care requirements.
